Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province

These photos are out in the street in the city of Nanchang.
Hundreds of cars and motorbike and bicycles all driving crazy and hundreds of people everywhere. These photos were taken in October 2009 when we were in Nanchang.

Outside Leping SWI (orphanage)

These are the gates outside Leping SWI (orphanage). This is the finding place of many Leping babies. These photos were taken in October 2009 when we visited the orphanage.

Leping SWI (orphanage), Jiangxi Province

This is Leping SWI (orphanage). These photos were taken when the orphange was newly built. When we visited in October 2009, it was much older. We were told that no babies live in the SWI, that most babies from Leping go to foster homes. We were told the only children still living in the SWI were children with severe disabilities.

Lushanxia (Village) , Kuichen Group, Legang Town,

These photos are of Lushianxia - the little village where Cheng Linjiao lives. It is about 40 minutes drive by car from Leping City. Cheng Linjiao's house is a 15 minute walk from here. The bridge was broken and we could not drive the car over to her house.
These photos were taken in October 2009 when we went to visit Cheng Linjiao.

Life in Leping

This photo is Le Ping La.

This photo is of Cheng Linjiao (foster mum) holding Le Ping La. She was born on 2 February 2008 and has a repaired CL. She was adopted by a family in America on 12 June 2010. This photo was taken at Leping in about July/August 2009. This photo is at Cheng Linjiao's house. Le Ping Qin (Izzy now living in Australia) is laying down and Le Ping La is sitting holding her bottle. Taken in September 2009.
